| KATHY ROBBINS, ARIZONA SITE STEWARD |
Prescott Valley is located in northwestern Arizona at the 5100 foot elevation and is considered high desert.
It is located in Yavapai County and within a short drive to the historic town of Prescott. Both these towns
are rich in culture, history and tales of the the Native Americans and Pioneers who's dreams were both found and lost.
I have been inspired by the whole culture and beauty of the area and it's people. I enjoy walking
on the pathways and trails near our home with my husband and Jack Russell Terrier K.T.
Since moving to Prescott Valley I have joined the Prescott Wood Bee Carvers, National Wood Carvers Association.
My husband Terry and I are Arizona State Parks Site Stewards. Our duties as Site Steward's is to monitor assigned Native
American ruins and petroglyph sites for vandalism. Terry is a member of the Yavapai County Sheriff's 4x4 Search &
Rescue Team. He also, is a member of the Yavapai County Sheriff's Search Dog Unit.
I love to draw and paint and my favorite mediums are oil, acrylic, pastel, and gouache. I also enjoy clay
sculpture and have gained some knowledge of creating primative clay sculpture. I have learned to work and create with
gourds. I've been learning to woodcarve for almost two years now. My favorite types of woodcarving are relief
and carving in the round. You can see examples of my work in the various Gallery's on this site.
I sincerely hope that you will enjoy your visit to my Web Site. Please return often as I'm always updating
the Gallery's. Please also visit the 'Prescott Wood Bee Carvers' Page the woodcarving club I belong too. You'll
see some fine examples of woodcarving and club member activities.
